The Spaniard has recently launched a cycling school and is very happy to achieve this dream of his.
In a press conference Contador said that the format in the recent years have been in favor of riders especially for the pure climbers. He also added that it becomes difficult at times when the finishes are uphill but on the other hand the new format also allows the riders to earn bonuses from those situations which have resulted in a better performance from all the riders.
Contador has some amazing Grand Tour victories where he was seen to dance on the pedals after his win. Apart from this his victories in the hills has also been very important where he was able to beat the hour mark. In the tour to come the path has already been defined by the organizers and they have set a 34.5 kilometer stage towards the half way mark and then on the final day there will be a 10 kilometer flat blast. This will ensure that the riders have enough time to catch up in between the race.
